Tau DLS Demo Flight 2026-06-18

After a long period of strong winds, today was the chance to fly the new Advance Tau DLS before I have to give it back. The idea to fly from the Ebenalp was to avoid the really annoying airspaces that are currently popping up like mushrooms. 🍄 The plan was big but the hot weather and stable air had other ideas. Once below 1800m it was super hard to push through the inversion, above a dream. The long crossing from the Säntis relief to the Speer side was the killer. I just could not pass it, but it was a pleasure to fly with the Tau, a deep review will follow in the Forum.
